3GV and the Village Model
A Village organizes volunteers to support members in their own neighborhoods and communities. Each Village provides slightly different services depending on what members want and need. For the first time in our nation’s history, our village model will exclusively focus on gay women who are 50 years of age and older.
Our goal is to serve our members within specific geographic boundaries. 3GV will help members to live safely and with purpose by coordinating access to services and social, educational and entertaining programs.
We aim to provide easy access to programs, resources, and services for gay women in the community that are 50 plus years and older. Volunteers, members, partners, and staff will promote inclusiveness and well-being of the aging women in our community.
Our Vision & Goal
We will work to develop a national platform of resources, services and programs through social media and events that connect like-minded aging gay women.
