SUMMARY:Cris Williamson – 50th Anniversary concert of “Changer and the Changed"
DESCRIPTION:The legendary Cris Williamson is performing in Rehoboth Beach on Sunday\, September 7 at 4 pm at the Epworth Church on Holland Glade Road.  This fantastic event is being coordinated by Gay Women of Rehoboth (GWOR) and 3GV is proud to be collaborating with GWOR along with The Listening Booth. \nCris Williamson is an American feminist singer songwriter and recording artist. She was a visible political activist during an era when few who were unconnected to the lesbian community were aware of gay and lesbian issues. \nWilliamson is credited by many in the LGBTQ community for her contributions\, both artistically\, and politically\, and continues to be a role model for a younger generation hoping to address concerns and obtain recognition for achievements specific to people who have historically been ignored. \nThroughout her career\, Williamson has released dozens of albums on both Olivia Records and her own Wolf Moon Records label. SUMMARY:Developing Artists Collaboration’s West Side Creative Market
DESCRIPTION:We have a great evening planned for Monday\, August 25. We’ll gather at the Developing Artists Collaboration’s West Side Creative Market to listen to talented Kerry Hallett (playing solo) and peruse some excellent arts and crafts. The Creative Market is an outdoor event located in West Rehoboth on 19826 Central Street. It is right across from Tomato Sunshine and Revelation Brewing Company\, and it is right next to the bike path. This is planned as just a fun relaxing way to spend the evening while enjoying some music and the outdoors so let’s hope that the temperatures favor us. There will be a couple of food trucks at the Market and a bar that sells all sorts of beverages. This is a free event that runs from 5 – 9 pm. Come when you can. \nKerry (who is half of the band Goldstar) plays acoustic guitar when she sings solo\, so we will be able to chat and get to know each other. Creative Market has high tops and picnic tables but you might want to bring an extra chair (just in case). \nRSVP using the link below. DESCRIPTION:JOIN US: A Golden Gay Girls Villages (3GV) Social Event at Nassau Valley Vineyard for Music and the Sunday Farmer’s Market! \nSunday\, July 13th \, 32165 Winery Way in Lewes. This FREE event runs from 12 – 3 pm. We will be listening to music among a grove of shade trees with the popular Farmers Market right next door. \n \nNassau Valley Vineyards is right off Coastal Hwy. The Market is a mix of 20 venders offering fruit and veggies\, health products\, crafts\, and food. The vineyard’s main building includes an art gallery\, a museum on the history of wine and a gift shop with clever and unusual items. \nChairs are provided but you also can bring your own. Wine tastings are available but optional. You can bring your own nibbles or purchase something from one of the food venders. \nLook for our Golden Gay Girls Villages sign and join us for a peaceful and pleasant afternoon. (Note: dogs are not permitted at the winery) \nJust for planning purposes\, please let us know if you plan to join us. If you want to do a wine tasting it is recommended that you arrive early as the tasting room gets busy. It opens at 11 am on Sunday.

She facilitates zoom classes on “A Course of Love.” As an author\, Sharon has written 5 books on Spiritual development. As an artist\, she intuitively paints mandalas tools for meditation. Her latest creation is “Living with Soulful Purpose\,” a series of 7 workshops for those who choose to awaken to a deeper purpose of their life.

DESCRIPTION:Effective Communication\, or “What’s Normal Anyway?”\nA workshop with Dr. Gail Atchison. \nMaya Angelou said\, “People will forget what you said\, people will forget what you did\, but people will never forget how you made them feel.” \nThe first few minutes of a conversation will set the stage for whether that conversation will end well\, or disastrous.  This workshop will present various ways a person\, couple\, or team leader can organize information to present an issue that needs resolution.   We will look at I statements\, describing the issue clearly\, how the issue affects you\, and how one stays out of the “blame” game. \nHealthy communication is not easy\, but with practice we can contribute to a kinder\, gentler connection with others. \nThis workshop is free to 3GV members. $5.00 for non-members. RSVP here. \nDr. Gail works with the LGBTQ community\, couples\, families\, grief and loss\, and addictions\, as a life coach. She has a PhD in Organizational Psychology and Human Behavior\, a Post Doc in Trauma\, a master’s degree in Divinity\, a master’s in Psychology and a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and Pre Law. She is an ordained minister in the MCC Church. She lives in Lewes with her dog Bailey\, and is in private practice.
